Super nice and flexible and our dogs all made you feel comfortable

First visit and Schnappi (our little dog) and we are thrilled. Always looking for beautiful places in nature and culinary hotspots. Therefore first of all for the physical well-being. A sign in front of the door reads "The best apple strudel far and wide". I love apple strudel and Bens is damn close to my mother's - ADDICTIVE !!! The breakfast buffet (despite Corona) is delicious and peppered with creative delicacies. E.g. homemade coconut oreo cream (I'm actually a Nutella addict but I haven't touched the stuff this week). The homemade carrot spread (with an Asian touch) was simply sensational and, last but not least, the very interesting (naturally positive) ginger shots. Either way, you can't avoid the fresh rolls (homemade spelled rolls - OUTSTANDING!) With the sausage from the local butcher. The evening menus are very tasty and the taste is great. Especially the salads, soups, stews and curries with a fine Asian touch. The hotel and rooms are in very good condition. Partly newly renovated with a chic bathroom and box spring beds. Last but not least, the team around Beate and Ben know exactly what they're doing and are very friendly. We will be back definitely! Keep it up, Sportalm team

Really a very nice hotel. The food is great. The most important thing is that you have a good starting point for many beautiful hikes and that the dog is not neglected. The dogs feel just as comfortable as the people.

My girlfriend and I spent a wonderful few days at the Sportalm. It's really great how much effort has been put into satisfying our vegan lifestyle, especially in the kitchen. This is definitely the biggest plus, as you still have to search a lot in Bavaria to find a hotel that is dog-friendly and offers vegan food. The wellness offer with sauna and whirlpool was also a relief. Maybe we will come back in winter, because the surroundings are definitely even more beautiful!

Food is good but the main course is too small. Good eaters will not necessarily be satisfied with the four-course menu. Every south-facing balcony should have a functioning parasol and the chairs should be checked so that you cannot injure yourself! The breakfast buffet could have a larger selection, and you don't get any coffee cream, just normal milk, not everyone likes it.

Nice rooms, great food and very friendly hosts. Dogs very welcome. Pure holiday feeling even with Corona pads! A clear recommendation from us.

I was traveling alone with my dog ​​and we wanted to hike. We felt very well looked after, almost at home. And all according to the new Corona rules. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating. The food is delicious and there is also a large selection of home-made dishes at breakfast. Even as a vegetarian, I always got my money's worth. It is a great starting point for hikes in the Bavarian Forest and also to the Czech Republic. Guided tours are also offered with dogs. You can also book dog training or use the animal health practitioner. Everything is recommended. (tested and experienced myself) And if the weather isn't right, indulge yourself in some wellness! I had a wonderful 5 days and will definitely be back.

Great place with warm service. Every day after skiing we enjoyed ourselves here and were cooked for delicious meals. The menu is small and there is an additional daily special. The location within a short range of the lift is ideal for stopping off in ski equipment. The food and drinks were delicious every day. The dining room is cozy and invites you to come into contact with other holidaymakers. Always first choice! ✨

Food was good, but service was unfortunately not very friendly. It also seems that you are not really welcome as a customer. Wanted to reserve, is allegedly fully booked and we were canceled. Then we spontaneously stopped by, there were some free tables, but we were told again that the first thing was too late and everything was taken.

We were biking through the area and stopped at this place to have dinner. Based on our conversations with the owner we were the first Americans to come there. We only stayed for dinner but the staff were friendly, welcoming and very attentive. The food was also excellent and had a nice varied selection. We ate outside on the back patio area and really enjoyed the tranquil setting.

Very cozy hotel with very nice staff. We were greeted very courteously. The breakfast was delicious and everything was included. In addition, the therapist's relaxation program should be emphasized. Super nice and lovely personality. I could really let myself go. Despite the short notice, she was able to slide me into her already full calendar. If anything could be improved, it is the timing of dinner. At some point, of course, children get cranky. I would like the time intervals for menu delivery to be faster. But all in all it was a great short break. Thank you and your team.
